Early departure from Iquitos at 7:00 a.m. by private vehicle to Nauta (1h45m).
Board a motorboat and navigate to the Santo Domingo checkpoint (PV1) at Yanayacu–Pucate, where park registration is completed.
Lunch on board with a traditional Amazonian juane, fruits, salad, and refreshment.
Continue navigating 2 hours deeper into the reserve until reaching El Renacal, the starting point for exploration.
Adaptation activities and first immersion into the jungle environment.
Swim in blackwater rivers alongside playful pink and gray dolphins.
Dinner in the forest, followed by a night exploration to discover nocturnal wildlife.
Overnight camping.
Breakfast at camp.
Paddle by traditional wooden boats (pamacaris) for 1–2 hours until reaching Zapotal, the next camping site.
Set up camp and begin a guided jungle exploration.
Afternoon wildlife observation: monkeys, turtles, macaws, capybaras, and possibly anacondas.
After dinner, embark on a night navigation to spot caimans of all sizes and observe nocturnal animals such as owls, night monkeys, and rodents.
Overnight camping in the rainforest.
Breakfast at camp.
Morning traditional fishing activity and jungle walk in one of the most biodiverse areas of the reserve. Possible sightings: sloths, various monkey species, orchids, birds, and reptiles.
Lunch in the forest.
Return by motorboat to Nauta, then by private car to Iquitos (approx. arrival 7:00 p.m.).

Yes. We use modern motorboats equipped with life jackets for all passengers. The trips are safe and comfortable, with opportunities to relax and enjoy the spectacular river scenery. During excursions into smaller rivers or blackwater creeks, we use smaller wooden boats for a more intimate Amazon experience.
You’ll likely spot pink and gray dolphins, caimans, monkeys, river otter, capybaras, sloths, turtles, and countless bird species. Wildlife encounters depend on luck, weather, and seasonal conditions.
We recommend lightweight clothing, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, a reusable water bottle, and comfortable walking shoes. A rain poncho or light jacket is also useful, as showers are common in the Amazon. Don’t forget your camera and binoculars for wildlife viewing!
